Student Materials

This past week, staff members came in to collect student items and placed them into plastic bags. On Monday we will sort the bags by address and load them onto buses for delivery. Middle School items will be delivered on Tuesday. Elementary items plan to be delivered next Wednesday, May 6th. Expect delivery between the hours of 9-12. We will deliver to homes and place items outside by your front door.

If you will be out of town or not available, please contact the school so that we can keep the bag at school.

2020-2021 Registration Packets

Registration packets have been prepared and are ready for distribution. We plan to put the registration packet in your child's student materials bag. Those will be delivered next week.

Make-Up Work Day

Remote Learning is a "Learning" Experience! : )

Teachers will likely start to build in a day in the week that will have less emphasis on turning in an assignment in effort to allow students and teachers some time to catch up with assignments, answer emails and complete makeup work.

Next week, Friday will be designated as our "Make-Up" day for students to catch up on any work from the week. There will not be new learning activities listed on the learning packets. Teachers will still be available if any students or parents need to reach out to them about learning activities from the week.

We hope this helps!

School Community Parade

We will be holding a Millburn Community Parade on Friday, May 8 in the parking lot fo Gurnee Mills between Macy's and Sears (see map below). Staff members will be parked in designated spots set by Gurnee Mill management. Cones will be up and direction will be given to families coming into the lot. Families will drive their vehicles through the parking rows...yes families will be the parade!!!

We are asking families to come during the followings times to help with traffic flow.

Art to Remember

Families, if you ordered your child's artwork in March, please be aware there is a delay due to the stay-at-home order in Indiana where Art to Remember is based. When the state lifts the order and the employees can return to work, the company will begin on our products right away. Once they are shipped to the school, we will inform you how to go about picking them up. We are really sorry that the arrival date was pushed back, and we hope to contact you in the next few weeks with good news! Please contact mhauser@millburn24.net if you have further questions.
