HFRCS Newsletter SY2021-2022

April 12, 2022 - Vol.1 Issue 34

From the Principal's Office

Dear Parents and Guardians,

God’s blessings to everyone as we move into the holiest week of the church year! I hope that all our families take advantage of the many graces provided this week in the Holy Thursday liturgy and the Easter Triduum. There are opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation at local parish Penance Services and through our Queen of the Universe and St. Frances Cabrini parishes. Please see this newsletter for all the parish information for Holy Week.

On Friday, April 22, Holy Family will present “Holy Family’s Got Talent!” at the Grace Danaher Performing Arts Center at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School. This inaugural event will feature singing, dancing, and a few surprises! You will not want to miss this one night only performance! There is no admission charge however, donations will be accepted at the door, the proceeds of which will benefit our Music Program. Mark your calendar!

This Wednesday, April 13, will be an early dismissal for all students. Our PK classrooms will dismiss at 11:00 AM and K-8 students at 11:30 AM. There will be no going home busses for Bristol Township or Bensalem. There is no afternoon CARES. If using carline, please make sure your child knows their carline number. Due to more than usual students using carline, please expect the wait to be longer than usual. We appreciate your patience as our goal is to have all students dismissed as safely as possible.

When students return from the Easter break, they may begin wearing summer uniforms. Please consult the Family Handbook for the specifics of the summer uniform, and also the information provided in today’s newsletter.

May God richly bless all our students and families this Easter season!

Sincerely Yours in Christ,

Mrs. Haggerty

Lenten Service Project

As part of our Lenten Service Project, the school will be collecting donations for The Blessed Margaret Castello Home for Crisis Pregnancies.

Please send in your donations by tomorrow, Wednesday, April 13. Thank you for your support and generosity.

Early Dismissal Apr 13 Carline Reminder

Please:

  • Anticipate a longer wait time since there would be more cars than usual at pick up due to no buses for Bristol Township and Bensalem.
  • Remind your child(ren) of your family number and display your family number on your vehicle's front windshield. A staff member will be taking down car numbers prior to dismissal. Please stay in the same lane.
  • Remain in your vehicles. When exiting your car to help your child(ren) with their car seats, please be mindful of cars moving from their lanes.
  • For the safety of students and staff, wait for a staff to give you the signal to exit the parking lot.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Reminder: There is no afternoon CARES on April 13.

Yearbook Order!

Please place your Yearbook Order (School Year 2021-2022) using this link. The cost of the yearbook is $30 each. Don't delay so you don't miss out on bringing home the memories of this school year! Books will be distributed in June for those who ordered.

Note: 8th graders will receive a yearbook as part of their graduation fee so there is no need to place an online order unless they need more than one copy.

Note: Sibling photos will be taken this year! Please indicate on the order form if you would like sibling photos taken.
