Social Skills Curriculum for 2019-20
Next year is the revision for our Social, Emotional State Standards based on our district Curriculum Timeline. We will use the 19-20 school year to put appropriate building level teams together to review and align our standards, and then review our current Social Emotional Resources (Positive Action and Connect with Kids) with potential of new adoption if the current resources aren’t meeting the needs of our students. We will work together with our Student Services team, Strategic Planning Team for Social Emotional Health and plan to have Ci3T team member representation as part of this process (group effort). Regarding curricular resources, next year we will continue to use the same district adopted curricular resources (Positive Action) as the primary resource for social skills instruction until other curriculum decisions have been made.
