Balance
Symmetrical, Radial, and Asymmetrical
Definitions
Symmetrical Balance is when both sides of a room are identical to each other. Asymmetrical Balance is when both sides of the room aren't identical but the balance is still achieved. Radial Balance is just achieved when the balance is put into a circular formation.
Symmetrical Balance
This is Symmetrical Balance, because by just looking at the student desks if you split them in half they are the same on each side.
Radial Balance
This is Radial Balance because these student desks are put into a circular formation around the room.
Asymmetrical Balance
This is Asymmetrical Balance because the symmetrical aspect of it is still the student desks in the middle. But the Asymmetrical aspect is the cabinets along the sides and the whiteboards in front.
My favorite balance would have to be the symmetrical balance because it's a lot easier to like walk around and see things better. It's also a lot better to understand.
