Weekly Update
Greetings Givens Families,
I hope you are enjoying a great weekend! Happy Mother's Day to all Moms! I hope your day is filled with love, positivity, and joy! I would also like to share some additional moments of gratitude:
First, from me and the staff at Givens, I would like to share our sincere gratitude for the outpouring of appreciation you shared with our entire Givens Community! We appreciated the cards, thoughtful words shared on the positive referrals, gifts, participation in Spirit Week, and the many ways that you and your children shared your appreciation last week. We would also like to thank PTO for the flowers and amazing lunch they provided for our entire staff on Friday! We felt the love and appreciation! Thank you!
Next, I would like to thank our PTO volunteers, under the leadership of Mrs. Guffey, for providing a fun, family event (Orange you Glad it's Almost Summer). Thank you for shifting with the impending weather and still providing a chance for our school community to come together and play, have fun, and eat. We appreciate all it took to pull this off.
Finally, I would like to thank the parent volunteers, under the leadership of Mrs. Kati Cook, who helped make the 2022-2023 Art Festival a Success. We could not provide this day of fun and artistic expression without you!
Our school community is so thankful for the partnerships we have with our families and we know that this is a huge factor in helping all students Connect, Discover, and Thrive!
Just in case you missed the opportunity to help at the Art Festival, or you had so much fun and you are looking for the chance to volunteer again, FIELD DAY is on Friday. Take a look at the sign-up information below to volunteer.
