Attention Car Loop Drop Off Parents:

In an effort to make our morning drop off more efficient we are expanding our student morning drop off zone. We need your help! Please be alert and ready! Staff will cue up cars by turning their signs to a yellow EXIT VEHICLE NOW sign. Once they release students to exit the vehicle all students in the designated drop off zone must exit the vehicle quickly. Please ensure that students have all items ready to exit the vehicle as soon as you are safely stopped and receive the yellow exit sign. you may begin moving again when staff turn their signs back to the blue PLEASE PULL FORWARD sign. It is crucial that every car follows the signs and pulls as far forward to the car in front of them as possible to avoid leaving gaps. The more cars in the expanded drop off area, the faster everyone can exit the vehicle. Just a reminder to please drop off your student in the car loop between 7:00 am and 7:15 to ensure that they are not tardy.

Homecoming Information

We are looking forward to a great dance on Saturday, May 16th. Please note the following:

  • Every CCHS student signed a student agreement when purchasing tickets which outlines expectations for behavior.
  • Every non-CCHS student guest MUST HAVE AN APPROVED GUEST REQUEST FORM on file to enter the dance.
  • Any CCHS student or Guest who does not have a ticket purchased will be turned away at the door on May 16th. We have sold out of tickets and none will be for sale at the door of the dance on the night of May 16th.
  • Students should bring cash to the dance - we will have concessions for sale and will have a secure shoe/purse/phone drop-off, supervised by adults, for $1.00
  • Be mindful of traffic being diverted from I-75 to Old Pasco Road the night of the dance - please leave earlier from your home in order to be on time for the 11:00pm end of the dance pick up time. You may pick up your student by parking in the gym parking lot.
  • Our student dance agreement and guest request forms have been available online since the first day of school.
  • There are no refunds for purchased dance tickets.
  • All forms can be found on our CCHS website at THIS LINK

Detour Planned from I-75 to Old Pasco on 10/15 & 10/16

Per the FDOT, traffic will be detoured from I-75 to Old Pasco Road during the weekend of 10/15 & 10/16 to accommodate work for Overpass road in hopes of meeting the 2/7 deadline to open Overpass Road back up. The detour will occur Friday 10/15 at 9:00 P.M. to Saturday morning at 9:00 A.M. for southbound I-75 traffic, and Saturday 10/16 at 9:00 P.M. to Sunday at 9:00 for northbound I-75 traffic.

THIS MAY IMPACT HOMECOMING DANCE TRAFFIC DURING DROP OFF AND PICK UP, DEPENDING ON WHICH DIRECTION YOU ARE DRIVING FROM. Please make adjustments to get your child to the dance on time, and to pick your child up on time.

In order to be admitted to the dance, students must arrive no later than 9pm. Students are required to be picked up from the dance no later than 11:30pm.
