You are officially in your final year of elementary school. Whether you are a future graduate or parent of a graduate, get ready for the year ahead. Welcome Back to School! - Animated Digital Card


There are four teachers that govern the sixth grade at our school. Be sure to stop by and meet them.

1. Ms. Sharmani Adderley- THE HISTORIAN

Ms. Adderley is not only a homeroom teacher but she impacts all of the sixth grade students in Reading classes and by sharing Bahamian history and geography in Social Studies. She is also a part of the Discovery Club, National Pride Committee and she holds General Knowledge classes after school on Tuesdays.

2. Ms. Anithra- Lynette Cartwright- THE SCIENTIST

Also known as the Ms. Frizzle of the elementary school, Ms. Cartwright is not only a sixth grade homeroom teacher but the grade level leader. She teaches Math and Science. She is actively involved in the Discovery Club, National Pride Committee and Heavenly Voices Choir. She holds Math after school classes on Mondays.

3. Ms. Sheila Thompson- THE LINGUIST

Ms. Thompson is the go to person if you have any issues in Bible, Language or Creative Writing. She is the well known author of the story ' Milo' that she has used in her classroom to teach many lessons. She holds Reading and Language afternoon classes on Wednesdays.

4. Mrs. Twyla Ellis- THE WORD WHIZ

Ms. Ellis is the word analyst. She is the go to person for Spelling. She teaches Spelling classes on Mondays.

This is the perfect opportunity to learn about your child's daily classroom routine. You can experience what your child feels like at school by merely showing up. Bring your pencils and notepads, you just may have a pop quiz.

Induction Ceremony

Support your child by attending our Induction Ceremony. This is the official welcoming event to the graduating class of 2015, the official seniors of the elementary school. We look forward to sharing this time with you as we join in lighting the unity candle and make commitments to support the school, teachers and students this year.
