Dear Robert Hunter families,
We have contacted all families who have requested changes for the third trimester. If you requested a change and did not hear from us, please reach out to us. We are working with our staff to ensure that all students have a seamless transition for the final trimester of our school year. For our families whose children are returning to the building for the first time this year - we will be sending an email soon with more information. Classroom teachers will be reaching out as well.
We want to continue to stress that regardless of the learning model, we are a connected community. The combining of cohorts (whether in in-person, virtual, or simulcasting) allows students to interact with more of their peers, and we are excited about the increased opportunities for socialization and connection.
We are working together with our staff and wonderful PTO to plan whole school activities as we finish the year together.
On March 8th and 15th, White Week Zoom “check-in” classes with homeroom teachers will not be held. Teachers will be preparing for the upcoming transition.
Please remember to send any pictures that you have to our fantastic yearbook committee - they are putting in a tremendous effort of creating a yearbook in which all of our students are represented! Thank you for your support!
Enjoy the weekend!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Glaab and Mrs. Braynor

At this time, students who are coming to school in-person will be attending school every day through 1:20 pm. There will no longer be Blue/White weeks after March 22nd. Details regarding schedules will be coming soon. Instruction will continue to be held on an early dismissal schedule. Teachers may be scheduling virtual meetings with students on an as-needed basis after 1:20. Details regarding student support, Stretch, and Related Arts are forthcoming.
After-school Student Support Club
Our clubs for students in support programs will continue to run through June 3rd. Starting March 24th, clubs will be held every week and not on an alternating schedule. Students will continue to receive transportation each week.
CogAT testing
CogAT testing began this past week and will continue next week. CogAT testing is the initial assessment used for the Gifted and Talented identification process. All 3rd grade students take the test, and 2nd and 4th grade students are eligible by recommendation. Virtual students are taking the test after school hours, and eligible students should have received a letter with more information. Hybrid students are taking the test in school. If you have any questions or concerns about testing, please reach out.
Spirit Day
The 4th Grade Spirit Day Committee has planned a fun spirit day for next Friday, March 12th. Dress like a Rainbow Day! Wear as many colors as you can or anything that has a rainbow on it.
