Good Times at WTE
As mentioned in the last edition, the final weeks of school are filled with numerous special events! Last week, thanks to the PTO, we organized Kona Ice for all of our PSSA test-takers. It was a wonderful way to celebrate their hard work and perseverance. This week, in addition to celebrating our wonderful teachers, we had several district administrators visit and read to students as part of our Team PRIDE schoolwide buddy activity. The book, Be the Change: A Grandfather Gandhi Story, was written by Gandhi's grandson and sparked conversations about how each of us can make a difference. We will end this week with our engaging Earth Day activities. In the morning, the PTO is sponsoring an assembly on conservation. Mr. Rodriguez, Mr. Pester, and Mrs. Troutman have organized an afternoon of activities to make it a full day of Earth appreciation!
#ThankATeacher
Teachers loved driving into school on Tuesday morning to see these positive messages! Thank you to Jen O'Hora, Kathleen McCune, and Christine DiAntonio for organizing this event and to the parents who donated chalk and supplies.
Happy Memories
Pictures from throughout the year decorate our main entrance and Cafe bulletin board. It is a great reminder of some of this year's memorable events and special way to thank our teachers.
District Administrators Visit
We were so glad to welcome these administrators into the school on Wednesday. They love the positive energy our students provide and really enjoy getting to spend time with them.
