Grandparent's

We will be celebrating our Grandparents this week! As a grandmother myself, I treasure my grandson and love spending time with him. We will welcome our grandparents for lunch on Thursday, Sept. 22 and Friday, Sept. 23 with open arms, hugs, and kisses.

Sight Words

I teach sight words within context. They will not be tested, as in a spelling test per-say, but they are very important for your child to know. You can help your child learn these words by pointing them out in text that you read together, or playing games such as a matching game. I'd like to see everyone master the following sight words by the end of the 1st nine weeks.

as, at, if, in, is, it, up, us, am, an, a, be, go, he, I, me, on, so, we, by, my, no, ask, big, but, did, get, had, has, him, his, let, not, put, red, run, sit, yes, and, ran, can, & man.

If you would be interested in a game with these words, please let me know. I will be more than happy to get it to you.

Contact Information

You may contact me with any questions or concerns through our Class DOJO, email, or with a phone call. I will return your call during my plan time or after school in order to not take away from your child's learning.

WELCOME HOME!

Please join me in welcoming home Brian Johnson home after a long deployment! As a Military family member myself, I know his family is happy he's home. Thank you, Sir, for service and sacrifices for our country!
