Graham Family News
February 22-26
Hellow Grizzly Families!!
It was so great to have our 2nd and 3rd graders join us in the building. I was surprised at the level of emotion I felt when I saw all of our K-3 students in the back of the building, lining up for their school day. It felt a little bit like normal. Thank you to all of you for your patience with our crazy attestation process this last week. By completing it last week, it is also good for this upcoming week. Now that we have "normal" weeks for a while, perhaps we can clear out the glitches and hit a smooth stride.
Please remember to send your child with the following items everyday they come to school:
- Fully charged iPad
- Backpack
- Mask
As always, we are here to support if you have questions.
Return to In-Person Learning:
4th & 5th grades: March 1
4th & 5th Grade Families
Feb. 25th: 1/2 day for 4th & 5th graders-They will have a live assembly with Mrs. Watson, our assistant principal and Mrs. Standerfer, our counselor to go over our school procedures; what to expect when they arrive and are at school. They will also have some asynchronous work to complete in Canvas. Their day will end at 12:00.
Feb.26th: No school for 4th & 5th graders- Their teachers will be in training all morning and putting the final touches on their classrooms for arrival of our students in the afternoon.
March 1: First Day for our A Track students
March 2: First Day for our B Track students
Bus information should be arriving in your mailboxes no later than the middle of next week.
Important Dates
March 1: 4th/5th graders return to in-person learning
March 22-26: Spring Conferences (more info to come)
April 5-9: Spring Break
Arrival & Dismissal: It might take some extra time as we get the routines smooth, so consider that as you plan your morning
In-person Arrival Time: 11:05-11:15 Students in seats, ready to learn.
Dismissal Time: 3:50 Students escorted to their departure destination-This may take a few minutes and we thank you for your patience.
Save time in parent pick-up and ride the bus. As we begin to bring in our 2/3rd grade students our pick up loop is going to become longer. There are only 2-4 students currently riding our buses so there is plenty of room to spread out.
Private Vehicle Transported Students- All personal vehicles are required to use the parent loop and adults are to remain in the vehicle. In order for this to run smoothly, we ask that your student have everything in their bag and ready to hop out of their vehicle upon entering the loop.
We will have all of our staff outside supporting students upon arrival and exit.
Again, parents/guardians are to remain in their vehicles for before and after school pick-up. This will help us meet our health department guidelines so our students can continue in-person learning.
Walkers- when you arrive on campus, you will have a staff member giving you directions to ensure social distancing. It is important to follow those directions so you can return to in person learning. Once students reach our tiny west parking lot, any persons accompanying students will need to remain there at that point. Only students will be able to continue further. We will have all staff outside for arrival and dismissal to ensure student safety and support.
