FFA National Convention
Throughout convention FFA members had the opportunity to meet other members from all over the country. There were FFA chapters from all over the United States in attendance. Freshman, Jaylyn Cross remembers seeing all the jackets with the other states on the back and said, “the most shocking jackets to see were probably the jackets from Puerto Rico and Minnesota.” For many of these students it was their first National Convention and for some it their first FFA convention ever.
On Wednesday, some members volunteered with the FFA Courtesy Corp bagging items at the FFA Mega Store. For their service they received a pin for their FFA jacket and they made many new friends. All in all it was a very memorable experience for all members. Sophomore, Alek Babbs said, “It was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on, I’ll be sure to go again next year.”
