Solar System Walk! by Ben
Wednesday in Science we measured the distance between the planets in our solar system and the sun. We used a ball to represent the sun. I counted the steps for the planet Mercury. Other students counted for the other planets. Our class made it Jupiter.I thought it was fun because we had to walk a long way.

Now let’s meditate on that… Om !!!The Bronx Zoo by Ben
Over Spring Break my mom and I went to the Bronx Zoo in New York. I saw many animals including flamingos, zebras, sea lions, the polar bear, rhinos and peacocks. My favorite thing was jungle world because there was a waterfall and gigantic fish. I learned that the flamingos fly. The Butterfly garden is where the butterflies land on you if you’re still. I’d like to go back there one day. We didn’t get to go on the monorail because it was closed.
Badminton - by Gage
This week in Ms.Triolo’s gym class, we are playing a game called Badminton. Badminton has its first origins in ancient civilizations in Europe and Asia.
It’s a game with a net, with rackets and a birdie. All you have to do is to hit the birdie over the net, while the other player tries to hit it back. I chose Jack as my partner. It is working out really well, because Jack and I are good friends, and we know how to cooperate and work together. I hope our team will win.
