Community Input Sessions
Your voice is needed to shape the future of TCS!
The Tuscaloosa City Schools are hosting a series of community input sessions on Sept. 11, 13 and 14. We want our TCS families, as well as any Tuscaloosa resident, to come and give us their thoughts on what we are doing well as a school system that we should continue to fund, as well as what would they like to see us do differently that requires financial commitment.
We are making plans for the next several years, and the input gathered at these sessions will help set our roadmap of priorities as a school system for the future. Again, the input gathered at these sessions are crucial to our future, and we want as many members of the public to attend as possible. Strong schools mean strong communities.
The input sessions are open to anyone, and it is not required that you attend only the one within your feeder zone. Choose any input session that fits your schedule.

Safety Tip of the Week
Bus Safety
It is important that students follow all safety rules while riding the bus. While not all students ride to and from school on a bus, all students benefit from the use of transportation for field trips, athletic events, or other extracurricular activities. Bus safety procedures can be located in the Parent/Student Code of Conduct on pages 22-23.
