Submitting Dropbox Assignments
Mrs. Lombardi's Classes - Fall 2018
Here are some important reminders about submitting dropbox assignments. Make sure you follow the directions so that you don't have to submit a second time and have late penalties.
Remember, students should be:
- checking grades daily by looking under Assessments > Grades. They will see their grades along with the feedback I have left for them.
- checking their GaVS email and News Announcements daily for important course information.
- reading and following the course schedule for the session in which they are enrolled. In order to ensure you are completing your work on time, I encourage you to work ahead if possible to avoid late penalties.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Submitting Assignments
Your name must be on the paper you submit to the dropbox.
There are two ways you will be able to submit your work for this course.
(2) Hand-written work and answers
When you are requested to graph, you may use Desmos or another online calculator, take a screenshot of your graph, and paste it into your document.
When you receive a 1 on an assignment, it means you did not submit it correctly. For the first assignment, you will be given a chance to re-submit within two days and not receive a late penalty. For subsequent assignments, a late penalty will be applied if you re-submit past the due date for that assignment. Make sure you follow my directions!
1. Typed Work and Answers
Click here for directions on how to download O365.
Just make sure you submit the work in ONE document. Also, you must show work or give an explanation for each problem in order to receive credit for correct or partially correct answers.
The work you type does not have to show every single detail, you just need to show enough that I can tell you understand how to solve the problem. You can type work and/or explanations. See a few examples of acceptable work below.
2. Print, Complete and Scan Work
Just make sure you submit the work in ONE document. Also, you must show work or give an explanation for each problem in order to receive credit for correct or partially correct answers.
CamScanner is an app for a mobile device that is easy to use and it's free! It will allow you to take a batch of pictures and combine them into one document. Make sure the pages are in order and facing the correct way when submitting to the correct dropbox.
Synchronous Help Sessions
In order to give students access to help sessions at different times, another Precalculus teacher and I will take turns conducting synchronous office hours for students each week. Please view the schedule on our course homepage under Course Information.
The recordings from Live Help Sessions are posted
under User Links on our course homepage.
