Spring Sports Registration Deadline Extended!
This is a final reminder that if you plan on participating in a Spring Sport this year, you must be registered to be eligible to participate. Thank you to the many of you who have already registered! We currently have not met our minimum number of participants needed for several of our offerings, including MS & JH Baseball, and Club Softball. If we cannot field teams in those sports, then those seasons will be cancelled. Determination on those sports will be made no later than February 15th. See below for registration information.
The time is now to sign up for the Spring Sports Season! Please click on the link above to get your student-athlete signed up! The deadline to register for our Spring teams has been moved to February 15th.
Returning Users- If you've already registered for a sport in the Fall or Winter, then simply log in, and click on the additional Spring Sport that you are now registering for. You should not have to re-enter all of your information.
New Users- Please go through entire registration process if this is the first sport that you are registering for this year. Physical forms (can be found at http://www.tpcs.org/co-curricular/docsandforms.cfm) can either be attached on the website while registering, or can be turned into the main office.
As a reminder, student athletes must be registered through this program before they are eligible to compete in a practice or contest for our school.

It is time for our winter NEXT STEP Open House events for Early Childhood and K-12 programs!
Who should attend & Why:
- Current TPCS parents to meet your teachers and learn about next year
- Prospective families who want to learn if Traders Point is the best fit for their family
- Special info session at 6:30 pm for parents interested in Kindergarten
When & Where:
- Early Childhood - Tuesday, February 2 at 6:30 pm @ Traders Point Christian Church
- K-12 - Tuesday, February 9 at 6:30 pm @ TPCA
- Talk with teachers at all grade levels
- Talk with other TPCS parents and students
- Hear latest updates from Head of School, Ron Evans, in a breakout session
- Attend info sessions on Financial Aid or High School Guidance/J-Term
- Check in on our varsity boys home basketball game vs. Bethesda Christian

*Remember that each enrolling student you refer earns you a tuition credit of $150 for Early Childhood and $300 for K-12 (they must list you on their application).

TPCA Spring Musical- Shrek!!!!!!
TPCA is THRILLED to partner with CYT Indy to put on a high quality musical production at TPCA for students in 5th-12th grade. The first production will be Shrek!!!!!
CYT will provide all the staffing for this production: a Director, a Technical Coordinator, a Music Director, a Choreographer, a Show Coordinator, a Lighting Designer, a Set Installer and a Sound Engineer. Their staff has many years of experience in putting on a high quality performance. All shows will be in the JK Stevens Commons at TPCA.
Auditions are tentatively scheduled for the evening of March 2 at TPCA. This musical calls for a cast of around 40 TPCA students in many different roles. Rehearsals will be twice a week: Saturdays from 9 AM-2PM and a mid-week rehearsal from 5:30-8:00. Performances are tentatively scheduled for the weekend of May 20th. A complete audition, rehearsal and performance schedule will be shared with you soon.
Each student who auditions will be asked to perform a prepared 1 minute audition song OR monologue of the student's own choosing.
- Prepare 16-32 bars/measures from a Broadway musical (1 minute).
- Choose a song in your vocal range.
- Do not choose a pop song. Pop music is a different style and does not evoke the same tone as musicals.
- Do not plan to sing a cappella – be sure to bring your accompaniment CD or iPod, etc.
- Practice! Practice! Practice! Be memorized and have fun!
- Prepare and memorize a comedic or light-hearted monologue (up to one minute).
- Do not hold back in your delivery; this isn’t the time to feel self-conscious. Be big!
- Project! Be loud enough to be heard.
- If your monologue calls for movement, feel free to use the space to your advantage.
- Ask for a chair if you need one.
- Practice! Practice! Practice! Be memorized and have fun!
Each auditioner will only have the one minute time allotment, so please plan accordingly.

Reuse Heart and Sole Shoe Collection
The Boone County Solid Waste management District is once again sponsoring our annual REUSE Heart and Sole program. REUSE Heart and Sole is a shoe collection event that allows us to provide shoes to a new pair of feet in Central Indiana! We typically don't think much about our shoes. We outgrow them, wear them out, or change styles without much thought as to what happens when we discard them. the truth is that discarded shoes can take over 200 years to decompose in a landfill which is a shame when there are so many people in need of shoes next door and all over the world! Thanks for your help!

In the event of a school closing or delay due to dangerous road conditions this winter, you will be notified via phone call and/or text message through Parent Alert. Parents set their own communication preferences and update their own contact information in Parents Web. Please update your contact information and your Parent Alert contact preferences in Renweb ASAP so we are prepared.
To update your emergency contact information and preferences in Parents Web:
1. Log-in to Parents Web (renweb.com)
2. Click Family Information

3. Click Family Demographic Form
4. Click Custodial Parent Form
5. Update, if necessary, your contact information
