Winthrop University's Graduate School is hosting an open house on Thursday, January 29 from 5:30-7:30 pm in McBryde Hall. The public is invited to visit with graduate program directors to learn more about opportunities to earn your graduate degree at Winthrop University.
As part of our open house, we are proud to welcome Dr. Jim Rex, the former South Carolina State Superintendent of Education and former Dean of the College of Education at Winthrop, as our featured speaker.
Dr. Rex will be speaking at 6:00 pm in the Tuttle Dining room in McBryde Hall on campus. His talk is titled: Our 21st Century Challenge: Not Just Beating Odds, But Changing Them. Dr. Rex is a dynamic speaker and a thought leader in many areas important to the challenges of the 21st century.
