YOUTH HOMELESSNESS ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Congratulations to all members of the Manitou Springs chapter of the National Honor Society! This year, NHS chose to focus their learning, leadership, and service on the important issues of youth homelessness in our community. Together, they accomplished so much and made a lasting impact!
- $1600 to Urban Peak
- Participated in Night Out to End Youth Homelessness
- 30 formal gowns and suits distributed to students for Prom
- 870 lbs. of food to the MSSD14 Food Pantry
- $250 to PHC to help students with clothes, food, and other necessities
This year, we surpassed all of our records: lbs. or food, money raised, and cold temperatures at Night Out!
Congratulations on a successful year, NHS; and THANK YOU to our community for all of your support!
Mondays at lunch in Mrs. Kerrigan's Room!
Our meetings start promptly at 11:50 a.m.
