Introducing Your ASB President ADELINA JOHNSON

Hi, my name is Adelina Johnson and I am your 2020-2021 President. I want to make this school year the best for everyone at Bonita. In elementary school, I had been apart of Student Council for 4 years. Once joining BVM I knew I had to join Asb. This is my second year being apart of this amazing team. A little about myself is that I have participated in numerous sports, but the ones I continued were soccer, and cheer. During this pandemic I found a passion in business. In June I created my own online boutique called Suncoast Trendy. This has taught me many traits that I believe will be a great asset during my presidency at BVM. Being friendly, outgoing and ambitious are all characteristics that I use not only in business but as a leader at Bonita. I am here as your President if at any time you need any help, advice or guidance you can reach me at @ajohnson26@sweetwaterschools.net

Questions To Get to Know Your Teacher

1.Where did you grow up and what high school did you go to?

I was born and raised in Chula Vista. I attended both Bonita Vista Middle and Bonita Vista High. I enjoyed growing up in San Diego so much that I moved back home after college and have been here ever since.

2. Are you married? Do you have children or fur babies?

I have been with my husband Jeff for 12 years and we have been married for 8. We have two children William (7 years old) and Natalie (5 Years old). I grew up with fur babies, however we currently do not have any. Although, my kids have told me that they are going to ask Santa for a puppy this coming Christmas.

3. What is one of the things you would put on your "bucket" list?

One thing that I would put on a bucket list would be to get a tattoo. I would get a hummingbird for my mom. However, needles freak me out so I don't know if I will ever be able to go through with it.

4. What food could you each everyday?

There are three food items that I could eat everyday.

- Bagel with cream cheese

- California roll

- French fries with ranch or honey mustard

5. What book are you currently reading right now?

Since the pandemic my daughter has literally fallen in love with the Twilight movies and Edward Cullen, so I bought the new book to the Twilight Saga as seen from Edward's perspective "Midnight Sun". We are currently on chapter 9.
