PTA Virtual Auction Ends Tomorrow!
The Tualatin Elementary School Online Auction is live until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 21st!
There are some great prizes - family fun packs, spa packages, games, babysitting nights - and raffles for a golf trip, a beach house, and a basketball signed by the Blazers! There are also some really fun teacher experiences you can purchase for your student. You do not need to be a Tualatin Elementary family to participate.
The PTA loves to support our students, but we need your help raising the funds that allow us to continue giving to our school. Check out our amazing auction items and help us support our students by clicking the link below!

Distance Learning Survey
We need to hear from as many parents and guardians as possible to adjust and improve distance learning as we start this second quarter. We are asking that you take a few moments to answer at least six of the questions regarding distance learning during this first quarter. Three of the questions are optional, but we appreciate as much input and feedback as you are interested in sharing. We hope to receive at least 300 responses. Please help us reach this goal.
Your time is greatly appreciated to respond to this survey this weekend.

Some of the feedback we received include:
- Parents appreciated the book bag delivery of Book Nook books to student's homes during CDL. If your child needs more books at home or more books at your students reading level, please reach out to your child's teacher s/he can submit a request for books.
- Some parents would like to better understand how parents differentiate assignments and instruction for students. Some parents would also like to learn more about the PAX behavior system and other ways we support kids feeling "safe" at school (especially when back in buildings).
- Flexibility with everyone's different situations during CDL is appreciated and necessary. Extra supports for families with challenging circumstances is appreciated.
- Especially at this time, everyone (students, parents, and staff) need to take time for self care. We can only do our best for kids when we are at our best too.
- The more advance notice the better regarding assignments and family events.
- Parents recognize and appreciate that everyone is working very hard and the things that are being accomplished are amazing! As one parent put it: "We love the Tualatin Elementary staff and community!"
