CALLING ON ALL VETERANS!!!!!!
Do you know a local veteran? The 7th grade social studies teachers need your help!
This year, we are inviting Lexington County veterans (or those that are actively serving) to our campus to interview about their lives, service, and the choice they made to serve/help others. We plan to preserve the veteran stories and feature them in a magazine and documentary designed by the students. This will be a wonderful experience not only to help our students grow into effective communicators, but also to preserve the history of their bravery and service to our country. We ask that anyone that knows of a local veteran that would like to be interviewed by our students to please fill out the google form link https://goo.gl/forms/vvUvNk1qgpo6mOU43. Thank you!

8th Grade Trip- 2018-19
Dear Parent/Guardian,
I’m pleased to announce that your child has been invited to take part in our class trip to Philadelphia and New York City!
In April of 2019, I will be leading this trip with the help of a premier student travel tour company. This is a great opportunity to see classroom lessons come to life, and a chance to discover more about the world.
As a standout student and member of the Meadow Glen Middle School, the eighth grade teachers would like to personally extend an invitation to your child to participate in this exclusive experience.
Reservations will be filled on a first come first serve basis as there is limited space on this trip. I will be hosting an enrollment meeting to discuss our destination, itinerary and educational value on May 3th at 6pm in the Gator Cafe. The parent meeting is mandatory to sign up for the trip.
This will also be an opportunity for me to answer any and all of your questions. Please fill out the Google form before the day of the meeting, or send me an e-mail so that I know that I have enough room for everyone.
This is an amazing opportunity for your child and I hope you will be able to come and learn more.
All the best,
Janet Dorneker
