This has been a journey like no other, and I am grateful that we have remained strong and positive through it all. While things will not be quite the same, they are the best they can be for our students and community. I am proud of our Team and our families for the work that has been done to bring our students back to Kumeyaay, safely.

For those remaining online, we are thankful for updated technology to integrate students into our classrooms and conversations. We honor all of our families as part of our community and look forward to seeing beautiful faces and smiles on Monday.

The Kumeyaay Foundation works year-round at raising donations to fund our Music, Physical Education, and Fine Artists programs. Each school year, we start fresh at raising the necessary funds. Due to COVID-19, it has been nearly impossible to fundraise since March 2020, meaning that some of our fundraising events did not happen. We are in good shape to support the school for this coming fall, but we urge you, if you are able, to support our Foundation so that we can ensure our ongoing support for the coming academic year and beyond.
