Discover. Connect. Get Inspired.

Welcome students, parents, and teachers!

My name is Kara Seale! This is my second year as the CMS Librarian and I love it! What a blessing it is to be able to provide students the tools and resources they need that will inspire lifelong learning and advance knowledge in their choice of subject! I would like us to be partners in instilling a love of reading. So please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss ways I can help your child.

I am married to my best friend, Allen, of almost 15 years. I have 1 son that is 13 years old named Ashton. I have 2 other boys that I love, care for, and consider my children--one named DJ (18 years old) and the other named Jden (14 years old). A few hobbies of mine are spending time with my family, reading, shopping, and studying God's Word.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Students may check out once a day.
  • Students are allowed to have 2 books at a time. One book has to be on their reading level and the other book is their choice.
  • Students need to bring all of their books to the library on library day, (which will be decided by their teachers).
  • We do not charge fines for overdue books only lost or damaged books.

I teach book care to the students so that our books last as long as possible. However, I understand accidents happen. Please reassure your child that I will not be angry if a book is brought to me with damage. Sometimes pages fall out or get torn by siblings. If this happens, please tell your child to bring it to me so that I can fix it with book glue or book tape. Ordinary glues and tapes are harmful to the books so I prefer to do all book repairs.
