parents of existing k-11 students: please complete online re-enrollment and planning survey by may 14
In preparation for the 2021-22 school year, we are asking parents to complete the re-enrollment process online on Parent Portal. We are also gauging our family's comfort level with a complete return to full in-person instruction, and will offer a place to share any concerns and/or suggestions. Please complete this both items by May 14, 2021.
Log on to Parent Portal to complete the survey and online re-enrollment process. See attached guide for completing online registration. If you have any questions, please call our office.
Outstanding student charges
You can pay online through K 12 payment center (fee applies) or if you prefer, you can send a check (payable to PCR3) or cash to the office. There is no fee for this type of payment. Be sure to mark the envelope OFFICE and your child's name so we can apply the payment correctly.
If you have any questions, please call Tina at 858-5977 ext.1404.
5th Grade Peace Out Shirt for Sale - PTA sponsored
Dear 5th Grade Parents,
It’s hard to believe the 2020-2021 school is coming to an end and our 5th Grade Leaders will be heading to Middle school soon! To help celebrate their achievements, the PTA has teamed up with 4 Hour Tees to design a fun shirt for all of the 5th grade students to wear on their last day. We have left the back of the shirt blank for all of those signatures from students, teachers and staff. We would love for every student to wear this on the 26th but understand that this may not be the perfect time to purchase one more thing and that’s ok. There is a place on the order form for those that would like to sponsor another child (ren) and the PTA will cover the rest. FYI…If you choose to sponsor a child, the order form will not let you select a size. We’ll take care of that after all orders are received on May 13th. Shirts will be delivered to school by Friday, May 21st.
CONGRATULATIONS to your 5th Grade Leader!

Class Placement for 2021-2022
We are beginning to consider balanced class lists for next year. As professionals collaborate to create class lists, it is helpful to be aware of SERIOUS EXTENUATING* circumstances that might inhibit your child from being successful with his/her peers. If you have such a circumstance, please inform your child’s current classroom teacher before April 30th.
All requests will be considered, but may not be granted due to limited placement options.
When determining class lists, our focus is to create a balanced academic environment for all students. Therefore, teacher requests and requests to place students based on friendship will not be considered when placing students.
*Examples: Bullying, conflicts outside of school, students are related, social issues
innovation team spotlight
This Week's Featured Innovation Team: Diversity and Inclusion Team
Diversity means differences.
In the diversity and inclusion innovation team we embrace our diversity and creating a school where we all feel included and a sense of belonging.
Fireside Chat with the Fam
Habit Highlight- Sharpen the Saw
Focus Lesson- Invite a family member to sit on a four-legged chair. Ask: “What would happen if one leg broke or fell off?” Identify the four basic human needs: body (physical), mind (mental), heart (emotional), spirit (spiritual). Discuss: Is our family sharpening the saw in all four areas?
At home extension to this week's innovation Team- Today, more than ever, students interact with people of differing ethnicities, religions, and cultures. The person who learns to be open to differences will have more opportunities in education, business, and many other aspects of life. Your student’s success depends on being able to understand, appreciate, and include others. One of the best ways for families to respect and honor diversity is to model it at home. Modeling for your student that you respect, honor, and appreciate all walks of life is key to unlocking your own student’s heart and mind. Create a Venn Diagram and compare and contrast 2 family members. Embrace your differences.
