La Terreur (The Reign of Terror)
The Madness Continues
The newly named "The Reign of Terror", has reached a total of almost 16,000 in its death toll with some of the newest members of the list being King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. I have not heard of many others being taken from the First Estate other than the ones associated with Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, but many have been taken from here in the Third Estate for absolutely no reason at all but with all of the injustice that is put towards us it is as expected but not acceptable. Living in the Third Estate my whole life, I could name many various reasons as to why more Second and First Estates-men should be executed and although wrongful death is awful and by no means do I thirst for more death, it is just angering how it is always us from the Third Estate.

Lavish Livings Prior to Death
The king and queen were very well known for their outlandish spending and somewhat ridiculous lifestyle. They were often known for living above their own payroll and, being from the Third Estate myself, it was a bit of a slap in the face. I understand that they wanted to enjoy their life with the extravagant dinner parties and shopping sprees but all of that money should have been used to help out "their country".

Letters to the Editor: The Royal Execution
Marie Antoinette
I myself have mixed emotions about the death of Marie Antoinette. Although death is never good in any case, she was unjust to the rest of my people and I. I am not particularly happy she is dead but am glad there will be changes made to the court with her and her husband gone. ~Madeline Bourbonnais

Palace of Versailles
Yes it is sad that both Louis XVI and his wife were executed but let's face it, they had it coming. What I want to know is if us down in the Third Estate are going to get a chance to get inside and see what all the fuss was about in dealing with the Palace. I've only ever heard rumors about how incredible it is. ~Jean-Pierre Anton
