Wrestling Wins District Championship; 9 Qualify For State Tournament
Howell hosted the Class 4 District 2 Wrestling Tournament on Friday and Saturday and our Vikings brought home the District Championship. Not only was it a great day for the team but Howell also qualified nine wrestlers for the State Tournament this coming week at Mizzou Arena. Howell Student-Athlete Signings Reach 36; Nearly 200 In Past 4 Years
The student-athletes in the Class of 2018 are making their mark both in the classroom and in their activities and sports. So far this year, 36 student-athletes have signed to further their education and sport at the college level. This group of 36 students have not only had success in their sport but also in the classroom as well where they hold a cumulative 3.6 GPA over the course of their high school career. The class of 2018 currently has 45% of it's student-athletes that have signed to further their education and sport at the college level. This far surpasses the national average of just 7.4%. Over the course of the past four years Howell has had nearly 200 students go on to further their education and activity/sport at the college level which marks over 26% of it's senior participants. Spring Meet the Coaches Set For February 15th
The spring season "Meet the Coaches" has been set for February 15th. Eligibility paperwork turn in will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the high school commons with the meeting portion of the evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. All eligibility paperwork must be complete to be turned in. All students participating in a spring MSHSAA sponsored activity must have this completed prior to the first day on February 26th. It is recommended that all paperwork be turned in at the "Meet the Coaches" event on February 15th. To ensure participation on February 26th all fully complete paperwork must be turned in no later than February 23rd at noon. A link to all eligibility paperwork can be found below.

6:00-6:20 pm - Presentation By Activities Director Sean Erwin (Only those that did not attend the fall or winter Meet the Coaches need to attend this portion)
