Water Usage

70% of California's water is used indoors, 30% is used outdoors. The water is divided into three main points; 50% environmental, 40% for agriculture, and 10% is used for urban reasons. When you take a bath, you use 70 gallons or more. A short, 5 to 10 minute shower takes up 10 to 25 gallons. About 2 gallons of water are needed to brush your teeth every day. In California alone, 42 billion gallons of water are used every day, which means we have to save as much water as possible.
