The Regional Transition Council is a collaboration networking opportunity for professionals serving students with disabilities in the transition process which begins at age 14. In collaboration, we will identify barriers that students with disabilities face when they enter the workforce and work collaboratively to address these barriers. The council is open teachers, administrators, local businesses, agency service providers, parents, and more. As a team, we will increase everyone’s knowledge of services available to our students with disabilities to improve their postsecondary outcomes. The School psychologist is open to any school psychologist in Region 5 from Pre-K through grade 12. In collaboration, professionals will examine, discuss, and review an Evaluation Team Report through a compliance lens. Professionals will also examine and share evidenced based best evaluative and instructional tools as well as methods and procedures. Through the sharing of resources and ideas, team members will grow their knowledge of evaluation team reports to continuously improve their practices.
