YRBS Survey
Watertown High School will be taking part in the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) sponsored by the Department of Public Instruction this January. The YRBS is designed to determine the prevalence of health behaviors now and over time, examine the co-occurrence of health behaviors, create usable data sets, and monitor progress through the use of objectives and indicators. All student responses to the survey are confidential and no information is provided in a personally identifiable way. If you would prefer your child not participate in the YRBS, please return this form to Main Office or Student Services by Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

WHS is looking for an instructional paraprofessional to join our team in January 2023. If you are interested in joining our team, please contact the District Office at 920-262-1460.

WHS Week in Review
Carrie Hein's AP Environmental Science class learned about different mining techniques to extract minerals and how mining companies are responsible to reclaim the land to how it was prior to the mining project. APES students practiced their mining and reclamation techniques on different types of chocolate chip cookies.
The chocolate chips served as the mineral being extracted and helped the miner earn a profit. The time taken to mine the mineral, the equipment used, and how well the reclamation was completed served as fees toward the miner.
