Special Edition Hybrid learning
A note from your principal
I hope that you all are having a wonderful spring break. We are so excited to have you all back for the final 8 weeks of school. Remember Mrs. Larson's mantra; "We can do anything for 8 weeks."
I spent a day out on the beautiful Russian River to soak up the sunshine and have a beautiful lunch with my best friend. My daughter was able to come for a visit from ASU, which was a nice surprise.
The next few days will be full of lots of important information you will receive from the school and your teachers. Below are schedules, FAQs, and Important information about Ingress and egress on our campus. On Thursday, I will be hosting a special zoom if you still want more information about our campus return.

Safety
What if my student doesn't feel well once they arrive at school?
If a student exhibits 1 or more Covid related symptoms, they will be led from their classroom to the Isolation Area by a designated care person. (Ms. Larson)
The school will contact you, examine their symptoms, and stay with them until someone arrives to pick them up.
Students may only return to school if their health care provider has cleared them with a negative test or a doctor’s note stating the alternative cause of symptoms. Students should also be fever-free for 24 hours and have improved symptoms for non-COVID-related illnesses.
The siblings of the ill student will also be picked up at this time.
Health Assessment Form
Most students have one adult registered on Parentsquare. It is critical that adults who will be with students in the morning as they prepare for school or do drop off also have access to Parentsquare.
The app can be found for iOS and Android devices. This is the simplest way to access Parentsquare and complete the self assessment daily.
The student health assessment is not active yet but by making sure you download the Parentsquare app and accept invitations that will be sent out to the form, you'll be ready.
Please watch for more information on this as we get closer to hybrid instruction.

Questions and Answers
What if a sibling is sick and the other is not?
Both need to stay home until a doctor clears them.
What if my student is late?
Please try to arrive on time, but please have them walk directly to their classroom if your student is late. Teachers will be marking the tardies, not the office.
Are parents allowed on campus?
Only parents of Kindergarten students may escort their students to class. The first week only.
Do students need to wear masks at school?
Yes, all students are required to wear a mask during Hybrid Learning. The district protocol does not allow neck gaiters or bandanas. If you need a face mask for your student, we have disposable ones here on campus.
What if I need to come to the office?
Come on in, but please wear a mask and please wait to enter if there are already two people in the office.
What is the restroom protocol?
Each classroom will be assigned to a bathroom. Each classroom will have a restroom pass and hang their pass outside the restroom's open door if they need to use it. There will only be two students in the restroom at a time.
Will there be parent volunteers on campus?
Only for special events ad primarily outdoors.
We know you may have many more questions and will want to ask them before returning to campus or continuing distance learning after April 12th. Please send your questions to your teacher and your general questions to Ms. Larson alarson@Petk12.org.
There will be a Zoom Q & A on Thursday, April 8th. at 3:00

Club runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11:00 - 5:00 and Wednesday from 8:30 - 3:00.
Is your Student Staying in Distance learning?
The curriculum will remain consistent with the current content standards for the third trimester so your Grant student will be on track to succeed. Distance Learning teachers will be working closely with the hybrid teachers to make sure the content is aligned. We don't want you to feel like your student will miss a thing. We are working to make sure high standards are maintained for all students. Current teachers will be forwarding assessment information to Distance Learning teachers so they can hit the ground running!
