Hearne Elementary's Playbook
Week of November 11, 2019
Thank you, Mrs. Henry, and all our Veteran Family Members! We salute you for your service on November 11, 2019 and every day.
A message from Mrs. Sanchez!
I made it to 40 weeks and 2 days with your help! Although Baby Jayden has not arrived as of Friday, November 8th, my maternity leave starts on Monday, November 11th! I will miss you all very much and will be thinking of you daily. I have complete faith in our progress towards becoming an A campus by May 2020. Stay the course and maintain meaningful relationships and meaningful work each and every day! Let's show Alief and the state of Texas all Hearne can do!
Support each other, hold each other accountable, and don't forget to dance in the morning to the tune of a good beat when the days seem tough!
Mrs. Brown and Mr. Serpas will continue to lead our campus to greatness! Mrs. Lipscomb will be there to support our vision and mission as well. Drive your bus with purpose! Don't lose sight of our vision! And most importantly, no Energy Vampires allowed! We all play a part in Hearne's success!
Stay tuned for pictures of Jayden! I appreciate your well wishes and prayers. I will see you soon!
Sending lots of energy and positivity your way,
Johanna
Every Child Needs Someone to be Crazy About Them

Our Above and Beyond has initiated weekly strategies to ensure our students know we care about them. The Hearne Daily Affirmations are a step in the right direction.
Remember to affirm your students daily with handshakes, compliments, high five's, and reasons to be thankful.
Let's remember the miracles we make every day at Hearne!
We can't control the messages our students receive outside the school but we CAN control our message to them in our building. They can and WILL achieve with our help!
Talk about impact! Press play and make a change today.

Be On Time and Use Raptor Daily
Plan ahead to ensure you arrive to campus before your scheduled duty begins.
The Raptor system has been moved to the front office (temporarily). The expectation is for all staff to use it daily to sign in and sign out.
If the Raptor system is down, we will do a manual sign in sheet where you will record your time in and out.
You cannot Raptor in and be at your assigned duty at the same time. Campus safety is everyone's responsibility. It takes the effort from all players for our team to succeed.
Mrs. Lipscomb is the interim principal. She will support Mrs. Brown and Mr. Serpas! Here is her number: 281-630-1850.
