Valentines Day Celebration
Valentines Day parties will be on February 9th at Morton Elementary. This party will look and feel very similar to the Halloween parties from the fall. Parties will be at 2:30 p.m. and will be facilitated by classroom teachers. The Morton PTA will provide a special treat. Students can bring Valentines Day cards to distribute at school and one candy will be permitted. Students will not open the cards or eat the candy at school. We also look forward to the school wide games and activities provided through Zoom. Thank you for your support as we develop COVID friendly celebrations for the Morton students. Please touch base with your classroom teacher if you have any questions.
Parent Teacher Conferences
We look forward to our upcoming Parent Teacher Conferences on February 4, 8, and 11. All conferences will be facilitated via Zoom. Classroom teachers will send an email on Monday inviting parents to sign up for a 15 minute time slot. This process must be completed on a computer and through ParentVue. Detailed instructions will be included in the communications on Monday, January 25. This same process worked very nicely during our fall conferences. We appreciate your continued support.
