Daily Health Screening Form for Students

Parents, please be sure to access the Genesis Parent Portal to complete your child's daily health screening form each morning that your child is to report to school for in-person learning. The Genesis Parent Portal is linked here. Bookmark this link and keep it handy as students need a completed health screening form each day that they report to school for in-person learning. A video in Spanish is available online here.

Bus Time Reminder

Please check your bus passes that were provided to families in late August as they originally noted the bus pick up and drop off times for a regular school day. As students follow an early dismissal schedule this year, please remember that students will return home earlier than the time noted on the bus pass by about 2 hours and 20 minutes.

BOE Meeting Cancelled

The Board of Education has cancelled its October 12 meeting. The Board meets again on Monday, October 26.

Staff Shout Outs

Congratulations to the following FRSD faculty members for their recent achievement:

  • Erin McNaught, Grade 2 Teacher, Barley Sheaf School -- Ms. McNaught received an honorable mention in completing the Anton Banko Award application. Her submission showcased how she embraces the Next Generation Science Standards to support student learning of science as well as her expertise as a teacher leader.
