Principal's Corner: Weather Notices
I wanted to be sure to communicate with everyone how school delays or closings will be reported this school year. As soon as I receive word of a school closing or delay, I will notify staff and student families at the same time via REMIND texting. I will also send out a school-wide email and it will be posted on EES Facebook and Twitter. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE MADE FOR SCHOOL CLOSINGS OR DELAYS. Our school follows the plans made by the Boone County School District, which will also be published on local television and radio stations, as well as Boone County Schools website, Facebook, and Twitter as well. I just wanted to be sure everyone had this information before the impending winter weather is upon us. I am not looking forward to the cold and snow, but I'm sure it is coming no matter what!
Thanks so much!
Jenny Watson

EES Green Team - 4th and 5th Graders
Does your 4th or 5th grade child love being outdoors? Do they have a love for the environment? If so then the EES Green Team may be the club for them! Green Team meets once a month and works on projects that support sustainability here at Erpenbeck. Projects include: Planting flowers around campus, working with recycling, creating posters and videos to educate others about “going green” and much more! Applications are available to students outside Mrs. Klosinski’s classroom and are due by December 5th.
