GES 4th Grade Newsletter

Your inside scoop to ALL things 4th grade!

Sept. 5-8

Thanks for Coming

Thanks to all of you who were able to attend our Parent Information Night! We hope you found it helpful. Thanks also to the many of you who volunteered to help in our classrooms, at home, in the WOW Garden, etc. We appreciate you!

Volunteers

If you are interested in volunteering in our classrooms during Reading and Math Workshops, at the WOW (World of Wonder) Garden, or as a classroom reader, but were unable to attend last Thursday night, please let your child's teacher know. Remember, you can volunteer as little as one hour per week. All classroom and field trip volunteers must read the Volunteer Handbook and complete the online background check form Volunteer Background Check. This must be completed annually.

Our Monarch Butterfly Waystation

Exciting News!!! Our first Monarch was spotted in the 4th grade Waystation. We are getting our tags ready! Now that we know our little friends are busy, we also need to keep an eye out for eggs and larvae that we can bring inside our classrooms to allow them to morph safely.
