Beautycounter Opportunity
Beautycounter is steadily expanding across the US right now. Many of you may or may not have seen me posting about this beautiful company over the last 7 months, so I wanted to take a moment to explain what Beautycounter stands for- and what we are all about.
We are thrilled to announce that we are now 14,000 consultants strong nationwide, but we have a long way to go! To give you a better picture, Mary Kay Cosmetics has 2.4 Million Consultants world wide, Arbonne has 224,215 consultants in the US and Rodan & Fields has 75,000.
Legislation has been introduced into Congress to put better, stronger regulations on the cosmetic and personal care product industry. It is a $22 billion a year market that has 1.5 pages of legislation attached to it and only 11 ingredients banned, vs. the EU with over 1,400 ingredients. Only 10% of the chemicals we use in our care products have safety data attached to them.
Beautycounter has taken it upon themselves to self-regulate to the highest standards possible. We ban over 1,500 ingredients we know to be harmful. Anything associated with possibly being a carcinogen, an endocrine disrupter or is known to be associated with fertility issues is banned. We have compiled our Never List which is our first line of defense and our promise to never, ever have any of these ingredients in our products.
Education and safety are at the core of our brand. It's why Beautycounter has partnered with these three trusted non-profits- who have been focusing on environmental health since the beginning.
Environmental Working Group (EWG) uses the power of research and information to protect public health and the environment. Why we love them: Their Skin Cosmetic Database allows you to search over 73,000 products for hazardous ingredients.

The Breast Cancer Fund (BCF) works to prevent breast cancer by eliminating our exposure to toxic chemicals and radiation linked to the disease. The Breast Cancer Fund is a founding member and national coordinator of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, a broad-based coalition working to eliminate dangerous chemicals from cosmetics and personal care products.

Healthy Child Healthy World empowers parents and caregivers to protect children from harmful chemicals. Why we love them: Their easy actions and tips help families create safer environments where children can flourish.

We are in a very unique position to be on the forefront of a movement toward better health and the right to know what we eat and what we expose ourselves to daily. As a wife and a mom- I want a future where my children do not need a PHD in Biochemistry to purchase body lotion that is safe. If you want to know more- feel free to email me anytime!
