Hooch Junior Cougar Girls Basketball Fall Training
Chattahoochee Girls Basketball is excited to offer Fall Basketball Training for all 5th-8th grade girls this September and October! During this 4-week series, your daughter will work on a variety of skills and in-game situations designed to improve her game. We will practice fundamentals used in all areas of basketball, learn the techniques used at the high school level, and scrimmage against each other weekly to gain playing experience.

State Student Advisory Council
*ONLY 7th & 8th graders may apply:
State School Superintendent Richard Woods is seeking middle and high school students to serve on his 2018-2019 Student Advisory Council. These students will meet with Superintendent Woods to discuss the impact of state policies in the classroom, along with other issues related to education, and will serve as the Superintendent’s ambassadors to their respective schools. Members will also engage in community service projects to benefit Georgia students and schools.
Applicants must be enrolled in a Georgia public middle or high school for the 2018-19 school year:

- Selected students will be contacted via email. All students can visit gadoe.org/student advisory on September 10 at 10 a.m. to see whether they have been selected.
Middle school students will meet October 10, November 28, February 5, and May 13 in Atlanta. High school students will meet October 11, November 29, February 6, and May 14 in Atlanta. “Every day, I’m faced with choices that will directly affect Georgia’s kids,” State School Superintendent Woods said. “Because of the students who serve on this council, I’m better able to make sound, informed decisions. I deeply value their input and involvement.”
Jr. Cougars Basketball
Hooch Basketball is excited to announce that we are now offering Jr. Cougar training for all players from the ages 9-14. Dates and times are specific and do change depending on the week due to gym availability. Training sessions will be Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm and Saturday mornings from 8:30-10:00am. Please pay close attention to the dates outlined as part of the registration information.
Skills covered in the training session include reading ball screens, individual shooting instruction, Hooch offensive schemes, individual scoring moves, and 5 on 5 cut throat game action. Hooch players and coaching staff will be the instructors for the training sessions. If you have any questions please email Chris Short (Head Coach) at shortc@fultonschools.org.
