Appointments During the School Day

This is just a reminder for parents. We understand our new school hours have increased the need to pick up students for appointments during the school day. We would appreciate a note or call to the office in the morning before the pickup. This helps us get your student to the office so you don't have to wait and eliminates disruptions to classrooms. Thank you!

8th Grade Washington DC Trip

FJH 8th graders were recently invited to take part in the annual class trip to Washington D.C.. Mr. Heiniger (8th grade social studies teacher) will again be sponsoring the trip through Worldstrides. Students will fly out to our nation’s capital over Presidents Day weekend to experience this once in a lifetime trip. They will be visiting many of the Smithsonian Museums, memorials, Mount Vernon, Arlington National Cemetery, and much more! All students received an information packet with how to register and there are additional packets in the front office of FJH. The final deadline to register is September 15th.

Thank you!

Thank you to those who attended our first general meeting of the school year! Please mark your calendar for our next meeting: Wednesday, September 22, at 8:00 a.m.

Volunteer Opportunity

Please consider donating your time by signing up for a shift (or two!) in concessions. The indoor or outdoor concessions are open for home football and volleyball games throughout the fall season as a way to provide a welcoming environment and snacks for our community. It also serves as the PTO's main source of income for supporting the teachers, staff, and students during the school year. No experience necessary! Your student may work alongside you if they are 12 years or older. Here's the link to view the available spots and to sign up: https://signup.com/go/oSbhdJM
