Macleans Primary School Community
Hi Everyone
Thanks everyone for your support for our teachers union meetings between 1pm and 3pm today. Following the presentation of the draft agreement at the meetings, teachers will now vote, so watch this space!
Great to see so many parents at our Y0-Y3 open afternoon last week and the Y4-Y6 parents at our open classes this morning. Parents vsiting the school for assemblies, during 'open classes' and other events is such a strong part of our home-school partnership that we absolutely LOVE! MPS home-school partnership is definitely alive and strong!
A reminder that we communicate home in many ways, from our Facebook page to website; this newsletter through email, seesaw notices and sometimes etap, our student management system. We would all agree too that paper works well too, and many letters and notices come home in paper copy as well.
I see our wonderful Macleans Primary children fairly regularly when I am out and about on weekends and after school. I have to comment on how proud I am of the children when I see the Macleans Values on full display as they are always polite and friendly. Well done children! A reflection of MPS for sure!
Thanks as well everyone for supporting our Annual Fundraiser - the Value-Athon. It is great to see the children getting right behind it. It is a win-win for all as there are great prizes to be won, the MPS Values are reinforced and developed, and the school community and children benefit from new resources for the school. The MPS Value-Athon Info. is in this newsletter, including links to download the sponsor sheets as well in English & Chinese. Extra hard copies of the sponsor sheets can be collected from the office or child's classroom. THANKYOU!
The Hunger Hut will be open tomorrow - Thursday - instead of Friday as the school is closed on Friday for our teacher Only Day.
Enjoy this jam-packed newsletter full of Macleans Primary highlights, from dance to soccer to art! Don't forget the Teacher Only Day this Friday!
A final reminder...Macleans Learning Pathways are being sent out tomorrow between 3.15pm and 5pm. More information on the Macleans Learning Pathways below.
Regards & Nga Mihi
