National School Bus Safety Week
When everyone does their part, there is no safer place for a student than on the school bus. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration tells us that students are about 70 times more likely to get to school safely when taking a school bus instead of travelling by car.
Thank you to our tremendous transportation staff at Elida for the work they do everyday, one of the MOST IMPORTANT jobs in the district, that of keeping our children safe.

Middle School Veterans Day Ceremony
Each year, the middle school holds a ceremony on Veterans Day to honor our veterans. Due to Covid-19 we will prepare a video presentation ceremony.
Veterans related to middle school students are asked to submit a photo (uniformed preferred but not required) to mreese@elida.k12.oh.us by November 1st to be included in
this year's video ceremony. We look forward to being able to celebrate our area veterans and teach our students about the ideals embodied by the Armed Forces.
Thank You!
