Lambert Fair Use policy

Official Lambert use of fair use on online images.

What is fair use

Fair use is the limitation of using copyrighted material for certain purposes. Some purposes can be for education, research, etc. You can give an attribution, acknowledgement, to the original creator of the work.
This should not be confused with public domain, as there is no copyright and you can use it for any purpose you have.

How to use fair use on online images

Most of the time, students gather online images for projects and work for their classes. This specific purpose is allowed for fair use and there is no need to contact the copyright holder.
