We are so excited to kick off the 22-23 school year.

Andrea Paulakovich joins our team as the new Assistant Principal. This is her 19th year in education. Over the past 19 years, she has served as a middle school English Language Arts teacher, a secondary Instructional Coach, and the Assistant Director and Director for Learning Services in Olathe. She is beyond excited to meet the students, staff, and families.

Officer Santiago Vasquez is also new to our building. He will be the building's full-time School Resource Officer (SRO). His focus will be on the safety and security of our students and staff. We feel blessed to offer this layer of protection.

The information below is intended to provide back-to-school information to support your family.

NO FRIDAY LATE START on Friday, August 12, 2022.

We do not begin Late Start Fridays until Friday, August 19, 2022.

All Piper Middle School families will receive an email from their students home room teacher on August 8, 2022.

The email will include:

• the team you are on for the 2022-2023 school year.
• Each student has been assigned to either Team Buccaneers or Team Swashbucklers.
  
• an introduction from either your Humanities or STEM teacher.
• an explanation of where to report for first hour on Thursday, August 11, 2022.
