Star Parents,
Thank you so much for helping disguise our turkeys. We loved seeing all of the turkeys dressed up. They for sure will not be eaten up for Thanksgiving. Thanks again for joining in on the fun.
Canned Food Drive
- Our Student Council is hosting a Canned Food Drive. We will be collecting canned goods through November 28th. This year, Student Council members picked six familiar faces from around the building to compete for the title of the "Biggest Turkey." Our very own Mrs. Oberschlake was chosen to compete! Let's help out those in need and make Mrs. Oberschlake the "Biggest Turkey!"
Important Information
Thanksgiving Feast:
- We will be having a Thanksgiving Feast with our classmates on Friday, November 16th. We will be eating lunch in our grade level.
Thanksgiving Break:
- Thanksgiving Break is next week. There will be no school on November 19th - 23rd. We are so thankful for your children. It is truly a blessing to get to work with your child each day and watch them grow. We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday. We hope you will enjoy spending time with your family. We will look forward to seeing everyone on November 26th.
Outdoor Recess:
- Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor recess including jackets, hats, gloves, and scarves. Please also make sure your child's jacket is labeled with their name on it just in case it is misplaced. Recess teachers monitor the weather and temperature each day. We are able to go outside if the temperature including the wind chill is 32 degrees or above.
Lost and Found:
- If your child has misplaced a water bottle or jacket, please encourage your child to check the Lost and Found. The Lost and Found is located in the cafeteria.
Extra Set of Clothes:
- It's always helpful for your child to keep an extra set of clothes in their locker just in case they have an accident. With the weather getting cooler, please send in a warmer set of clothes.
Science and Engineering Fair:
- The Elementary Science and Engineering Fair will be on January 23, 2019. If your child is interested in participating, please complete the attached form. After returning the form, you will receive a Student Handbook with additional information about the upcoming fair.
