Eye Contact
Speech Laws
Define the law you are selling:
- When speaking look at your audience in the eyes, do not look down or stare at something in the background.
Purpose of the law:
- The purpose is to make yourself look confident. If you don't look at the audience and just look down, it'll make you seem nervous and unprofessional.
Explain what the law looks like:
- The speaker looking at the audience and not looking down.
Tips:
- Do not be nervous and just be confident in yourself. When trying to give eye contact don't look at a person for to long because it'll just creep them out and it'll be weird/awkward.
