"Music Counts Every Day" at HES - Each morning as we get the day started next week at HES we will be listening to the 'Star Wars' theme by John Williams.
The music of Star Wars was composed for the movies and television series of the same name. The music was written by composer John Williams and, performed by the London Symphony Orchestra.
The music uses a mixture of musical styles, and includes some ideas from composers like Richard Strauss and Gustav Holst who lived in the early part of the twentieth century.
John Williams uses an idea he got from the composer Richard Wagner, which gives some of the people in the movie their own theme or tune.
The music also uses a big orchestra like the one that was used in the music that we heard last week.
I hope you enjoy listening to this exiting music this week.
The question for Star Wars is:
Can you name three (3) movies in the Star Wars series.
A correct answer will get two water drops/bubbles.
The answer to last week’s question is:
A Symphony usually has four (4) movements.
