A Message from Mrs. Hankins
JSE Families and Friends,
We have successfully made it past the first quarter! I am so proud of all of the great work and effort that our students have put in to learning. There has been so much growth already, and it's just getting started!
Tomorrow is an eLearning Day. This counts as a school day for our students. Please be sure to check your child's Canvas page and backpack. Some teachers have some supplies going home that are screen-free activities. If you haven't completed the Chromebook Survey please do that ASAP. This helps us as we head to inclement weather and if we should send the school Chromebooks home with your child.
Wednesday is our Halloween celebration day! Parties will be hosted in classrooms. Please do not send students in costumes. We don't want them to ruin or misplace parts before the big day. Wednesday night from 6-7 is our PTO Spooktacular where you can dress up to show off those costumes and come Trick-or-Treat through the JSE Halls!
Thursday and Friday we are on Fall Break. There will be no school those days.
In November, we host a veteran's program where we celebrate our families and friends that have served in the armed forces. This year I have a Google Form to complete to collect the names of those we should honor on our PowerPoint. Please complete the form so we can add your family members.
You are loved at JSE,
Mrs. Hankins
Elementary Conferences Tuesday, Oct. 24
Since it's also an eLearning day, we do have Chromebooks for each student. If you would like your child to take a Chromebook home or not we need to know. Please fill out this form so we can adequately prepare them.
Thank you for your cooperation and support!
