Erik Johnson is a hard worker because he is a proffessional hockey player who plays in the NHL. He is #6 on the Colorado Avalanche. He plays defense and shoots right .He was the first pick of the first draft of the first round for the NHL. He was drafted by the St. Louis Blues at only age 17. That is one of my reasons he is my role model is because he is very dedicated at what he does and works very hard to accomplish all that he does. In the 2010-2011 season he was transferred from the Blues to the Colorado Avalanche.
