Find out ways we can all get to the green!
The Y5-1st grade students drew their balloon creations by hand and the 2nd-4th grade students created theirs using the Google Drawing app. We first read the true story of Tony Sarg (Balloons Over Broadway) who was a true innovator from childhood and developed the balloon floats for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade close to 100 years ago to help the immigrant workers at Macy's feel at home and incorporate some of their cultural traditions around the holidays that they missed in their new country.
Don't forget November 30th at Mack Avenue Grille PTO take out Tuesday!
