Christmas poem 2020 (COVID edition)

Happy Holidays!!!

We hope all Thunderbird families have a safe and restful winter break. We look forward to seeing everyone again on January 11th, 2021.


The office will be closed for the three weeks of winter break and everyone will resume on January 11th, 2021. In addition, the district office will be closed for two weeks for the holidays as well and will reopen on January 4th, 2021.

If your child misses their Zoom lesson they can still compleate their daily classwork. Pleases forward any doctor notes to the school at cthomas@mvusd.net

Best Class Attendance!!!! Week of Nov. 30- Dec. 4th

Mrs. Miller- Bells Class won best attendance for the week with less than 2 absences for the entire week.


Please make sure to get your students to their class each and every day.

What's Happening in the Classrooms!

Ms. Steward's TK Class

TK made great ginger bread people and drew reindeer.

Mrs. Reese's 2nd Grade Class

Mrs. Reese's class has been working on a holiday song together. Her class parents can view the videos students submitted in google classroom. They also had a full week of theme days from silly hats to pajama day.

Mrs. Ruiz's 2nd Grade Class

Students made Christmas Tree Positive Affirmations and were dressed in holiday attire.

Ms. Miller-Bell's 3rd Grade Class

Some great festive hats going on in class this week.

Grab and Go!

Grab and Go will be closed during the winter break. This will be the full three weeks of December 19th - January 10th. Grab and Go will resume on January 11th, 2021.
