From the Principal’s Desk

Kia ora Tātou

There are two things on my mind in particular this week

.

The first would have to be the fantastic display we had on Wednesday at Boyd Park. All four of our teams have made it into the Rippa Rugby Finals at Paeroa on Wednesday 29th of June. We are so fortunate to have such dedicated and talented students and parents! The support for our teams was awesome and all of our coaches were amazing. Thank you to everyone who gave up time to come along and cheer on our teams!

The second thing on my mind this week is our Support Staff! We are truly blessed here at Stanley Ave with an amazing teaching staff, however it is our support team that keeps us all going, and able to do what we do. To Kim, Mel, Robbin, Kelly, Lyn, Kathy, and Kat:- Thank you so much for all the love, care and time that you pour into our school, our staff and most importantly our students. We appreciate you all so much!

Have a great weekend everyone and Kia Kaha! We all make such a great team together!

Ngā mihi nui

Lost hearing Aids!!

One of our students has lost her hearing aids and we are asking our community to keep an eye out.

They are similar to the picture - one is blue & one is white - they were in a dark grey case.

If you see these, could you please drop them into the office. They are very important for her comfort and to help with learning.

Thanks very much!

This year is the 25th anniversary for the Yummy Apple Sticker Promotion. For the next two terms Stanley Ave will be taking part in this promotion to try and earn some amazing sports equipment!

All you need to do is purchase any of the Yummy apple varieties and bring the stickers to school! Alternatively , if you purchase a bag of these apples, send the cut out from the bag to school.

Every point counts !

Winter Olympics fundraising SAUSAGE SIZZLE

Our 2022 Winter Olympics team will be having a Sausage Sizzle each Friday this Term.

They are $2.00 per sausage and you can have Sauce, Mustard and Onions if you wish.

Orders must be in by Thursday each week (so we can order enough for Friday)

Once again we are blown away by the generosity of our school families. Thank you to the Watts Family for the donation of sausages for our Sausage Sizzle. This provides such a boost to our Winter Olympic fundraising efforts.

Please keep the Donations of Bottle Caps and Wool coming!

Yes...we are still needing Bottle caps for Team Ruru's artwork in Term 3 as well as donations of wool for Room 8's Term 2 creations.

These can be left at the school office. Thank you for your support.
